Measures room climate and air quality

Measures air quality, air components and environmental influences.

Your guide to healthy indoor air at home.

Your guide to healthy indoor air

We breathe approximately 20,000 times per day. So, it's good to know what is in the air we breathe and how the air quality is.
Humidity, temperature and fine dust are all factors that have an influence on air quality.
The Venta room climate and air quality measuring device measures, monitors and analyzes indoor air components, room climate and environmental influences in real time. It also notifies you of changes in air quality and recommends what action to take.

What if you don’t yet own a Venta Air Humidifier, Air Purifier or Airwasher, but still want to keep an eye on the air quality? Venta AirSense is still the right solution because it works independently of our devices.

Air quality analysis - everything at a glance

Are all systems go? With the AirSense room and air quality measuring device, you can detect air pollution sources and factors that create poor indoor air. You also receive comprehensive information on current values and tips on how to improve your room air from the Venta Home app.

The LED light strip on the air quality meter also displays the air quality (green = ideal, yellow - acceptable, red = critical). This gives you a clear overview and lets you know what the air quality is at all times.

Depending on the model, up to eight professional sensors provide you with reliable information about the following air components and measure, monitor and analyze them in real time:

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • VOC gases
  • Fine dust (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10)
  • Carbon dioxide CO2
  • Formaldehyde

Intelligent Smart Home Device

Is the humidity in the recommended range of 40-60%? Is the oxygen content in the room still optimal or is it time to ventilate? AirSense products go beyond measuring room climate and air quality to give you valuable tips on how to improve air on the app. The AirSense thereby works hand in hand with the Venta WiFi-enabled Air Humidifiers, Air Purifiers and or Airwashers and the Venta Home app. Together they comprise the world of Venta AirConnect. For example, if the room climate and air quality sensor reports excessively dry air, it sends the readings to the WiFi-enabled Air Humidifier, which in turn immediately switches to the next highest setting. You receive this information at the very same moment in your app, along with useful tips on how to take action.

Use independently from other Venta devices

What if you don’t yet own a Venta Air Humidifier, Air Purifier or Airwasher, but still want to keep an eye on the air quality? Venta AirSense is still the right solution because it works independently of our devices.

Carbon dioxide CO2, humidity and temperature

Optimal indoor climate depends on factors like the right oxygen content, an optimal humidity level of 40-60 % and the temperature. Different rooms need different temperatures. Generally, a temperature between 19-21 degrees is a good reference value, e.g. for living areas.

HAZARDOUS PARTICULATE MATTER PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10

Fine dust is almost invisible and is also referred to as airborne dust because it does not immediately sink to the ground and instead remains in the air for a period of time. It is produced, for example, by cars, industry, agriculture or even by an open fireplace. Particulate matter is therefore not only found in the environment, but also indoors, and is largely determined by the quality of the outdoor air. The concentration of particulate matter in the home can vary. Clearly, ventilation makes a significant contribution here. According to the Federal Environment Agency, known sources of particulate matter indoors should be consistently identified and minimized.

The Venta AirSense Pro helps you to identify the corresponding sources.

VOC GASES

VOC gases (volatile organic compounds) are airborne volatile gaseous and vaporous substances of organic origin. Possible sources of indoor VOC gases are building products or everyday objects which emit these gases. These may include flooring, wall and ceiling materials, paints, coatings, adhesives, furniture, electrical appliances and toys.

For this reason, they are almost always present in the air, albeit usually in small quantities. At higher concentrations, they can adversely affect health (e.g. allergies), which is why it is important to keep an eye on their levels.

FORMALDEHYDE

Formaldehyde is a substance that is used as a component in adhesives. In 2014, it was classified by the EU as “may cause cancer”. The main sources of formaldehyde are wood-based materials, flooring, furniture, insulation materials and building products. These objects may release formaldehyde into indoor air. Furniture manufactured and sold in Germany and the EU generally complies with a certain emission standard (recognizable by the designation “low-emission E 1”).

Furthermore, formaldehyde is also present in tobacco smoke and can be produced by burning candles. AirSense Pro allows you to keep track of the formaldehyde concentration in the air and take action if necessary.
