Defining the Right Air Quality Product for Your Space

Considering that we spend 90% of our time indoors, our indoor air quality should be a top priority. Depending on your space, a humidifier, air purifier, or Airwasher can help you maintain optimal indoor air.

Air Humidifiers

If you struggle with dry indoor air, then a humidifier would be best suited for your air quality needs. A humidifier is a device that is used to increase the water vapor, or humidity, within an indoor space. Healthy humidity levels range from 40-60%, but where you prefer your humidity level within that range is relative to your comfort zone.  While there are several common types of humidifiers, evaporative humidification has been recognized as the most natural, hygienic method of adding moisture to indoor air. For an easy approach to optimally hydrated air, Venta Humidifiers offer simple and reliable operation with low maintenance and easy cleaning. As a disk stack rotates in the water reservoir, clean water evaporates to humidify the air in your space. The Venta Humidifier will even naturally reduce indoor air pollutants, all with no filters.

Air Purifiers

If your indoor air is dirty and full of air pollutants, then an air purifier would be an ideal solution. An air purifier is a device designed to remove indoor air pollutants by drawing ambient air into the unit and cleaning it before releasing purified air back into your space. Indoor air pollution can be caused by everyday items such as building materials, gas appliances and heating devices, asbestos, cleaning products, gases like radon and VOCs, as well as tobacco smoke. In addition to these, outdoor pollutants such as particulate matter, gases, or odors, can make their way indoors through ventilation systems, open doors or windows, as well as through cracks in the foundation. Air Purifiers are particularly useful in areas where there is a high level of air pollution. Although you can freshen the air by opening the windows, the tiniest particles like fine dust from the outdoor air will enter indoors. Venta Air Purifiers are powerful enough to trap pollutants as small as 0.07 microns with its patented filter technology.

Airwashers

If your indoor air is both dry and dirty, then an Airwasher would be the ideal solution to improve your indoor air quality. An Airwasher is a unique, dual-function device designed to both humidify and purify the air within your space. Venta Airwashers are our state-of-the-art products when it comes to the combined performance of air humidification and air purification. To achieve optimal humidity, a stack of disks that slowly rotates in a water tray evaporates water to humidify the room air. Simultaneously, the disks trap harmful substances such as dust or pollen, which are then washed off into the water and collected in the device where they remain. This evaporative method of humidification has been recognized as the most hygienic way to humidity indoor air. Our Airwasher also helps to remove allergens, fine dust, viruses, and other airborne particles from indoor air with the patented filter technology that filters out 99.995% of airborne particles down to 0.07 microns in size.

Air Quality Monitoring Devices

Venta indoor climate and air quality measuring devices (currently our AirSense series) are used to measure, monitor, and analyze the components of air, indoor climate, and other environmental factors. In addition to basic air quality readings such as temperature and relative humidity, air quality monitoring devices are also able to monitor a variety of air pollutants. Venta AirSense PRO monitors particulate matter as well as gases such as carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, and VOCs. It displays the values in the Venta Home App and also serves as a data transmitter device to control Venta AirConnect-compatible devices.
