Preamble

As a leading provider in the field of air treatment, Venta stands for quality, reliability, and responsible conduct – towards our customers, business partners, employees, and society. This Code of Conduct establishes binding principles for lawful and ethically sound behavior for all employees and executives – both in Germany and in our subsidiaries in Benelux, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, China, and Japan.

1. Integrity and Compliance with the Law

We adhere to all applicable laws and regulations in every country where we operate. Regardless of local legal standards, we always act with integrity, honesty, and fairness.

  • Corruption, bribery, and any form of undue advantage are not tolerated at Venta.
  • Business decisions must never be influenced by personal interests (avoidance of conflicts of interest).
  • Gifts and invitations must comply with our internal guidelines.

2. Fair Competition

We are committed to fair, transparent, and lawful competition.

  • Price fixing, market sharing, or other anti-competitive practices are strictly prohibited.
  • Information about competitors may only be obtained and used legally and within permitted boundaries.

3. Responsibility to Employees

Our employees are our most valuable asset. We foster a working environment characterized by respect, equal opportunity, and mutual appreciation.

  • Discrimination, bullying, and harassment have no place at Venta.
  • We are committed to occupational safety, health promotion, and fair compensation.

4. Sustainability and Environmental Protection

We are committed to the responsible use of natural resources and to continuously improving our environmental standards.

  • Environmental regulations and permits are strictly followed; production processes are designed to conserve resources.
  • We emphasize energy efficiency, circular economy, and responsible supply chains.

5. Protection of Company Assets

Assets, know-how, and confidential information are essential for the long-term success of the company.

  • Confidential information must not be disclosed internally or externally without authorization.
  • IT security and data protection are top priorities.
  • Company assets and resources must be handled with care.

6. Responsibility in the Supply Chain

We carefully select our partners and expect them to uphold our standards regarding labor rights, environmental protection, and integrity.

  • We regularly assess our suppliers and promote long-term, transparent partnerships.
  • Human rights violations, child labor, or forced labor in the supply chain are unacceptable.

7. Reporting Channels and Whistleblower Protection

We promote a culture of openness where reports of misconduct are taken seriously and treated confidentially.

  • Every employee is encouraged to report grievances through internal channels.
  • Whistleblowers are protected from retaliation or disadvantages.

8. Scope of Application

This Code of Conduct applies to all employees and executives of Venta Luftwäscher GmbH and its subsidiaries worldwide. Compliance is regularly monitored and violations are consistently addressed.
